Nimble Thimbles is an active guild that contributes much to our Golden Strip community.

The guild meets the second Monday of each month at Messiah Lutheran Church in Mauldin. Meetings begin at 7 p.m. and includes a business meeting, Show and Share, and a monthly program.

Visitors are always welcome, so bring a friend. There are lots of activites to become involved in. Just a few include: Secret Quilter, Strip Swap, Memory Challenge, Block of the Month, and lots of workshops.

Opportunity Quilt Winner

Congratulations to Dorothy Brown, our winner of the 2011 Opporutnity Quilt. Our drawing was held at our regular monthly meeting on December 12, 2011.

Proceeds from the Opportunity Quilt Raffle was given to the South Carolina Ovarian Cancer Foundation. A check was presented to Carolyn Anderson, representative of the SC Ovarian Cancer Foundation, at our January meeting on January 9, 2012.

Thanks to all who participated in the raffle. You made this donation possible. Our 2012 Opportunity Quilt is now underway! More information about our 2012 Opportunity Quilt will be available soon.
